Josie's Bday Party

Hellooooo,

Sorry it has been so long. Just very busy with rehearsal for Urinetown and studying. So let me catch you up. Urinetown ended last weekend, it went great. Except we had to cancel one of the performances because many of the cast members were sick, but even with that, it went great!

Also, the weekend of Halloween we had mid-term break, so i surprised my family and went home! My flight ended up getting delayed many hours, so i ended up not getting home till about 3 a.m. on Friday the 30th, then i went to bed for about 3 hours before my grandma got my father to go down to my room so he could see me and be surprised. When he saw me he was really happy, then we told him that my mom didnt know yet, so he didn't go to work till he saw how my mom reacted. Then, i went and stood in the kitchen till my dad got her to go downstairs, she started crying when she saw me. They were being so loud that my brother woke up and saw me, he jumped out of bed to give me a hug! I was very happy to surprise everyone because i could tell they have all missed me tremendously. Then after that, we all talked till my parents had to go to work. I then took a shower and then went to breakfast with Tami, Tracy, and Rachelle. It was very nice to see them again for i have missed them a lot! After that, I went to coffee with Bri, it was nice to catch up with her and catch up. Then, i went to the office and worked, go figure, and then went out to dinner with Rachelle, Teri and Madison. After that i went back home to get ready to go see Emily's play with her mom, Jan Lynn. I went and got her yellow roses too because those are her favorite flowers. The play was great, but i got very tired since i had only gotten about 3 hours of sleep. After the show, Jan Lynn got Emily to come out and said there was someone here to wanted to say hi. When she saw me, her mouth dropped and she froze about 2 seconds, then came running and screaming to me to hug me. Everyone in the green room wandered what was going on, and when Marina saw me, she came running too. So did Sherre, it was great to see all of them. After than Jan Lynn and i went and got pizza and stuff to make cookies with, cause she makes the best cookies. We went and got Emily after she was done taking pictures and we just hung out, it was nice to see her and Jan Lynn because i missed them a lot! The next day i just spent with my family and then left Sunday at about 1 p.m. It was sad to say goodbye again.

But now i only have about 3 more week till i see them all again. Marina casted me in the show she is directing now, Leader Of The Pack. I will just start rehearsing whenever i get there, it will be nice to work with her, Bob, Emily, and Rita again!

Also, i auditioned for One-Acts, for only God knows why, and made it into 3 of them. So there goes all the free time i was looking forward too. Bethany and i bought little Snow Flowers and Christmas Trees from Target that we are growing. A few days ago, Muna and i went and tye-died shirts, we tye-died shirts for Bethany and Lynne too since they couldn't go. Also, a few days ago Aranya, Muna, Lynne, Jeff, and I went Holiday Card decorating, that was a lot of fun. Today, Muna and I went to Target and Wal-Mart because our hall is doing a Secret Santa. Also, tonight a bunch of us are going bowling for Josie's Bday. It should be fun, hopefully. I will try to write more often now!

Yay for College!

Hello Everyone,
Haven't done this in a while so i thought i would catch up! College has been great, the picture to the left is my best friend, Bethany, and I! The shirts are awesome! School is intense, had a fire alarm go off at 4 in the morning, and a lot of rehearsal! I work as a tutor, or really more of a Teacher's Assistant, at the Elementary School across the street on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I love the job, it has really made me better with kids, cause we all know how much i love kids! Haha!
I did make the musical, Urinetown, and am Robby. We have rehearsals almost every night from 7-10. It is hard to get everything done in the day, my schedule is pretty much set everyday and very busy! I am sleep deprived, and being woken up at 4 a.m. by a fire alarm doesnt help that! Someone was smoking pot and tried to cover it up with perfume, the fumes mixed causing the alarms to go off.
Next thursday, i will be hosting my first perspective student as part of the Ambassador Program i am in. I am very excited for it and hope that he enjoys himself!
More stuff to come, hope to get doing this more often now!

College

Well, college is great! Lots of fun times and fun friends! Classes are going good, i will officially be in Calculus I instead of Calculus II tomorrow hopefully! Everything else is good, lots of homework as usual. Especially in Theatre and Spanish!!! I love the voice class and theatre class and my FYSem! This last weekend we did a Piper Scavenger Hunt, which was fun. I felt more comfortable with the community after and not scared to go off campus! Afterall, a bunch of friends and i took the bus to Old Chicago which was nice to get off campus. I got a job as a tutor and training is on Wednesday, so i am excited that i got a job and hopefully will get one of the other jobs i applied for! We also play a lot of Volleyball here in our spare time. Auditions for the musical Urinetown are tonight, so i am excited for that! Need to pick the song i am singing still! Haha. But other than that everything has been going good! The food is good! Need to start working out though! Haha. Talk with you later!

First Day of Classes

Well, today is the first day of the classes. This morning i had Calculus II, which i am already dropping and switching to Calculus I. I never had Calculus, but the test online told me i should take Calculus II, obviously it was wrong, cause i had NO idea what he was talking about! It’s all good. However, i have to do a whole bunch of stuff to get the class switched. Like the get instructor to sign off on it, get the instructor of the other class to sign off on it, get my advisor to sign off on it which i wont see till Tuesday of next week! Why can’t they just change it??? I just got back from Advanced Conversational Spanish and i look forward to that class and getting better at my Spanish. In about 40 minutes i have Voice, which should be fun. After that i will proly eat lunch. Later tonight i have to Theatre Picnic, which should be fun! It will be nice to get to know others in the theatre department here. I will see how i like this whole college thing in about a week after i get a week of my classes down and the homework load. Yesterday was the job fair and many of them told me that i would be a good fit, so that was good, unless they just say that to everyone to make them feel good. Hopefully i get one of them. I applied for all Clerical and Office work along with being an Ambassador and tour people of the campus! But first thing on my mind is……DROP THAT CALCULUS II CLASS NOW!!!!!!

1st day!

Wow, sooooooooooooooooo much going on and to do!!!! Today was the first day of Orientation here. It went well, early morning. Yesterday we hung out with my Grandparents that live about 5 hours from here and went to the Mall of America and such. Then we ate dinner and went back to the hotel after some last minute shopping for my room. Then, this morning we got here and got all the papers and such and started moving stuff up to my room. And let me tell you, it took a while, seeming how there are NO STAIRS! So we walked up and down 4 levels continuously. Then we went and did a make up orientation since we weren’t at the one in July and then went to lunch which was yummy! Then I came back to my room and started getting things situated while my parents went to more meetings and at 3 we went to Opening Ceremonies where they introduced stuff and we said goodbye, which was really sad and hard for me to do, surprisingly! Then i went with my FYSem and met the instructor and he introduced everything. After that my FYSem played some Ice Breakers and ate dinner, which was nice. Then we had a Floor Meeting about rules and policies and such. After that we had Fair Play, which was kinda cool actually! Shook about 200 or so hands tho…..YUCK!!! Scared about H1N1! Haha, but i have my hand sanitizer and soap! So will keep a lookout for that! We have another full schedule today, i didnt get to my room till about 10 tonight and proly wont do so until later tomorrow night! Hopefully i can keep awak seeing how i have to wake up in 6 hours. Ahhh! Need to get to sleep and get my room settled too! Will be doing that over the next few days!

Last Day in CDA

Well, Tonight is my last night in CDA. Or should i say morning since it is 2:34 A.M.? Yesterday was a great day! I went to coffee with Bri which went great! It was so great to see her! Then i went to the Dentist to get a cleaning and make sure everything was alright. And the tooth that has been bugging me for a while is just a sensitive tooth and nothing is wrong with it, Thank goodness!!!!!!! After that i went to Olive Garden with Teri and Madison and said goodbye to them. It was so sad! :( Then i came home and then went to Tracy’s and watched America’s Got Talent and Sex and the City: The Movie, which was good. Then this morning, or afternoon i should say, i woke up and got ready to go to Tomato Street with Ayreal. It was nice to catch up with her before i leave. Then i came home and started packing. Then i went over to Emily’s and we hung out. We went to the store and got Brownies, Cookie Dough, and Ice Cream, and now i feel sick!!!! Now i am home and going to wake up at about 11 to finish packing up the last of things. I can’t believe i leave tomorrow already! I am leaving at 3 p.m. I will miss everyone here so much and don't know what i will do without Emily.

Amazing People in my Life

Well, today was a great day. I slept until about 1 in the afternoon, then woke up and took a quick shower and then went and got my haircut. It was great to see Kellie before i left for college, i told her i would be back at Christmas time to get my hair done again because she is the only one i trust with it. haha. Then i went to the NOVA Office to do some last minute work. After that i went to Bob’s for another going away party which was SOOOOO much fun! We ate and talked and played Catch Phrase, the best game ever!!!! We had lots of fun and took pictures! I have the most amazing people in my life and i love them dearly. The most amazing director ever, named Marina Kalani, bawled as she said goodbye and said that this wasn’t goodbye and she would see me Dec. 17th. I love her so much. My best friend Emily Cleveland took lots of pictures and we will see each other again, so we weren’t sad yet. Bob McAdams, the most amazing man ever, said bye to me and that was really sad too! I love them all and a girl named Nikki that i met tonight and was so much fun! I can’t believe i leave on Thursday. Well, i am off to bed, tomorrow is a busy day! Will have Coffee with Bri tomorrow morning at 10:30, then a dentist appointment at 12:30 and then lunch with Teri and Madison at about 3 or 4ish and then off to Tracy’s to watch a movie with some NOVA people again.

Going Away Party

Well, today i woke up at 8:15 to go to the fair and open the NOVA Booth! It was pretty slow because it was raining and storming for the first 2 hours, but then it got a little busier. Then i came home at about 4 and then relaxed and got ready for my Going Away Party NOVA had for me at Skate Plaza. It was so much fun! Teri and Madison got me a cake and so much more! I love them to death and don’t know what i will do without them! Poor Rachelle! It took her a while to get used to skating, but she got it! I was so proud of her! We skated and had fun, and yes, a few fell many times! Haha. Then we opened the presents they got for me, which i was not expecting! I loved them and just couldn’t believe how lucky i am to have such thoughtful and amazing people in my life! I will miss them so much and am sure i will come back and visit! It was a great party and night with friends! Tomorrow i am getting up at 8:!5 again to open the booth but will leave at hopefully 2 or 3 because i am having another Going Away Party with some of my theatre friends tomorrow night! I have such amazing people in my life!

2nd Day of the Kootenai County Fair

Today was a good day. I wanted to sleep in till about 12, however i got a phone call at 9 a.m. from someone from the fair. Tried to go back to sleep and then got called again at 9:30 by someone else. Then again at 10 by someone else. So i couldn’t go back to sleep. I got up and then went to the fair at about 3. It is hot there during the day! Stayed there and tried to get people for the agency and then came home at about 10:30 ish. Ate some Chicken Noodle Soup and now going to take a shower and head to bed. I told everyone i was turning my phone off and it wouldn’t be on until noon tomorrow because i wanted to sleep in. However, i am paranoid about someone needing something, so it will be on! We will see how long i get to sleep.

Kootenai County Fair

Well, yesterday i didn't do too much which is why i didn't write anything. I just woke up and relaxed and finished a chapter in the book i have to read for college, Nickel and Dimed: On (Not) Getting By In America, and have one more chapter to read along with the evaluation and afterward. It is a very good book and i really like it, i think it is starting to get me back into the mode of liking to read, which i haven't done in a looonnngggg time. So that's good cause i will be reading a lot in college. Today, i woke up at about noon and got ready to go to the Fairgrounds. Tami, Rachelle, Kurt, and I got everything set up for the fair along with Megan and Justin helping. Then at 5, everyone arrived for training. The booth looks amazing and everything is done. If you come by the fair, make sure to stop by the booth and say hi! I have to be there at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow morning, which i am NOT looking forward to, but i have to start getting used to waking up early for college because i have to get up at 7 everyday there pretty much and they are 2 hours ahead so that's like getting up at 5 my time, ahhh! It should be fun though, i can't wait to go! I can't believe i leave in one week exactly on thursday! Oh! Also, Tami, Kurt, Kole, and I went to TCBY's and got some yogurt, which was really good! I got their peanut butter one and it was really good. I have never been there because i thought it was just yogurt and i dont like yogurt, buts actually like ice cream, haha. So i plan on going there a lot now, especially since it's fat free! Well, it was a great day, i am going to go take a shower and go to bed because i have a long day ahead of me tomorrow!

Great Weekend With Best Friend Emily!

Well, today was a great day! I woke up at 10 to go to Church with Emily and Mom. It was a great service and there was a special guest for the Worship Band who was Dave Irish, who was an amazing artist! After the service, Emily went and bought his cd and we listened to it in the car! OH! And i got to see Joanie, who is a lady that went to Louisiana with me after Hurricane Katrina for a Mission Trip. It was very nice to see her before i leave for college because i don’t know when or if i will see her again! So that was a start to a great morning and day! After church, we went to the mall to go shopping at Pacsun and then looked at wedding rings for Emily and I, haha. After that we went to TJ Maxx to see if there were a pair of shoes Emily wanted, ugh, girls and their shoes! They werent there so we then went to Panda Express and got our lunch. After that we went to Blockbuster to rent a movie and we got the movie Changeling, with Angelina Jolie, and went to Super 1 Foods to get ingredients for her mom to make cookies, which are the best cookies ever! So we went back to her house and put the movie in and ate our Panda, which wasn’t the best we have had. The movie was GREAT! Sad ending though, but an amazing movie! After that her mom made some cookies and then after the first dozen was done, we went to Riverstone to go to Buckle and Aeropostle and Zumiez for some more shopping. Then we went to Starbucks and both of our drinks weren’t very good. I got a Double Chocolate Chip Frappacino, but it was too blended and was like all liquid. After that we went back to her house and started cleaning the room when we then started to go down memory lane. Then i came home and watched Miss Universe and i called it that Venezuela would win! Loved her! She had it goin on!!!! Haha, now i am watching Amazing Wedding Cakes and then will go to bed! What a great weekend, work tomorrow to get stuff ready for the fair!

Good Day!

Well, today was a great day! The day started off with Tracy and I looking at Houses and Apartments that Sandy and Jaki could rent when they move up here, which will be in about a week. We are so excited for them to get up here! By the grace of God, Tracy and I found amazing places for them at the first 2 we looked at and knew that it would be between those two. I know that Sandy and Jaki will love it up here! After that, Tracy and I went to Olive Garden, which turned out to be for about 2 hours because Tracy had to leave to go to the office to do a last-minute casting for a movie in Spokane. It was good though. After that, i came home, exhausted, and took about a two hour nap. After i woke up i rode my bike over to Emily's and we hung out for the rest of the night! We hung out at her house and then went to Borders to get the Next To Normal cd, which if you dont know is an AMAZING new musical on Broadway! It was wayyyy too expensive though, so we moved on to Target to get some fun stuff. We got the game Sorry, which we hadnt played since we were kids. Then we went to applebees and got stared down at by some weird lady who looked mad at us. After that we went back to her house and played a few games of Sorry, her mom won one game and Emily wont the other, i didnt win any. :( haha. Then Emily and I played MASH, which was fun. We had a Childhood-Memory night it seems. What a great day! Waking up at 10 so Emily and I can go to Church!

Had to get a blogspot!

Hello everyone,

I actually have another blog at joshuacooper.spaces.live.com, but one of my cousins told me about blogspot and how everyone has one and it is famous. Haha. So i decided to make one! I dont know which one i will keep up more, probably the other one because it is on my desktop, but we will see, so just check up on both! Today was a great day, worked and then went out on the boat with Tami, Kurt, and Tracy. I will miss them so much. I am going to go catch up on some reading on a book called Nickel and Dimed: On (Not) Getting By In America. It is a great book and the university i am attending is making all first year students read it, probably because it shows how our lives will be as poor college students, haha. So i will write more tomorrow!
